We took a drive this afternoon over to the Malhuer Reservoir. Want to check it out as a potential place to go fishing. There are three roads to there. All are single lane mostly dirt roads. It is about 14 miles to pavement on all of those roads. And when you arrive at the pavement it is 20 to 30 miles to any kind of services. So we took a picture of this ranch which is about a mile from the reservoir. They didn't want the house to be close to the road with all the traffic and such.



Then we pulled down to the boat launch at this middle of no where reservoir. There was this sign. Not more than 20 people within 15 miles and they are worried about social distancing.

I would think you could find that in the Northwest Territories right there in O'Canada?

In a lot of states, prisoners make those signs. I am not sure how much impact it will have on the prison economy....lol

I would think you could find that in the Northwest Territories right there in O'Canada?

Only move to warmer climates, not colder ones.

It was pouring down rain with a strong wind when we pulled down to the reservoir. i rolled down the window to take a picture and rain was hitting my wife on the other side of the cab. Figured we would take that picture another day. This is not the reservoir that supplies our irrigation water.

You could find places like that in SE Oregon, Southern Idaho, and certainly in Nevada. Thinking about it the SIL just bought a place in Eastern Arizona that would meet your qualifications, no people and a warmer climate.
I once read an advertisement for a ranch in Southern Idaho that said, "This is dog killing, horse crippling country where your only neighbors are jack rabbits." That might work for you too.
