Not the horse kind--Got 4 wheels and a seat--I've had to give in,can't walk for long, knees give out..With this (once I get it) hope to walk into stores that have no ecarts ,walk to whatever I want to see,sit look, then walk off...Hate to give in this much, but if I want to keep going,gotta...

Don't know your condition exactly but maybe this will help you. Got my knee messed up really bad a few years ago. Four operations and a lot of reconstruction. Said I wouldn't walk for a long while. Went to beach. Crawled into salt water. I stayed in it for hours each day. Four days later I could walk without much assistance. Was supposed to go back for another surgery. Won't do it. For the most part, I'm doing fine. They say they need to take some metal out but they are not touching me again - if you know what I mean. Keep your head up, and good luck!

Thanks---when I get meda><>< whatever, may get my knees done...Have spoken to lots of people about this, and most all say it's well worth it..We'll see when we get there. :)

There are a lot of floks out there who have had great success with knee replacement surgery. My dad is one of the ones that didn't, but he's one of the few I have heard of. My husband's grandma had both her's replaced and she says it is like she never had a problem. My son is 19 and he's looking at having it done from his auto accident. Doc says it's a matter of time.

I would go talk to some folks in your area about a good orthopedic surgeon and go for a visit. Can't hurt. You sound entirely too young to resort to a walker.
