Walked on Red Clover today

My son walked red clover on the existing hay field this morning. We had pastured it last year and early fall and intend to hold off fertilizing it till late in the spring after the clover sprouts. With the cost of protein I think now it is even more important to obtain quality forages.

I spread red clover , orchard grass and ky 31 fescue this weekend on the pasture . Sunday was a nice day to be out. Spread red clover on rented hay field tonight . Hope it all catches . rj
