Being female, its a constant worry that anything that happens will be blamed on being female. You know, how everyone jokes about women drivers, yet, men have more wrecks..lol

Thus, my walk of shame for help because instead of charging my phone in the tractor, i kept the satellite radio going. Admire my snake gear......yeah, i walk through the marshes like a man

My knight on his orange stallion came to save me.

Finished this pasture right before the rain. Got an inch and the day off today....
 
Husband was at a fire meeting the other night and i got bored and painted my toe nails...they were purty dirty toes by the time i got to my 4wheeler..The shininess must have scared off those shiny poisonous snakes....lol...
 
Ol Hook will be so proud of you posting those flipflops.

That looks like what lurks under the surface of part of my place. Baby pooh mud about 1 foot down. It looks good and solid on top, dry as a bone, and you might drive over it fine 5 times and the 6th time ya break thru and when ya get pulled out, it takes 50 yards before you can get back up on top of it.
 
I hit a part of it as i made that corner knowing that the wettest part is by that tree in the background. I thought i was in the clear... :frowns: We have a place on our place we call peanutbutter corner. You can stomp the ground and it waves like water...
 
yep, and once the tire treads plug up there's no hope at all anymore! The road to our place has a couple sections that get that kind of goop during the spring thaw.. we relate it to driving on a bar of soap... you pretty much have to gamble on how much speed you need to make it through without it being too much.

I'm not going to be able to mow again today. Husband had hay on the ground so they are taking care of that today and me getting stuck is the last thing he needs. Funny how we got 5 inches and i mowed fine, then we get an inch a couple days later and i get stuck....crazy land

They have more wrecks because woman are trying to tell them how to drive. a lot of these wrecks I think the man is so fed up he intentionally does it and hopes it shuts her up.

yep. mines a "doozie" for sure. .its why I married her and been married for 32 years to her. Well, that and the fact that she knew how to tie her own lure or hook on, and bait her own hook, and cookem when I clean em.
But.. u wont catch her wearin a pair of flip flops.. not out in the pasture.

Wore those flipflops because the tractor i was using floor gets so hot i couldnt stand another day of baked feet. I put those on and thought to myself, what if you have to walk home... :? I could have walked one way that was not through swampy areas, but, they i know were chigger infested. So, it was either look out for snakes, or have itchy places where i cant scratch in public for a week...lol
 
It was getting dry enough to hit the fields again, but fuel was low. Son goes and gets rig and brings it to the house to grease and fill up. Notices that i've been letting the tire hit the shredder when i turn and a broken bolt. They arent sure if it was that i was letting the tire hit that broke it or if it just broke. But what a disaster it would have been if i had broken it. Now in my defense, i was told not to jackknife it. I watched that tire EVERY time i turned and i left a good distance between the tire and the hitch. No one told me that is not where it will hit, it hits in the middle of the tire, UGH! I did not know this and neither did they. I thought i was fine when i turned, nothing make any clunks or vibrations...i was being very careful. BUT, i was told i could turn sharp just dont jackknife it..We had an employee who did jackknife it and it wasnt good. I went back to the pictures i took when i got stuck and it was broken then too. Could have been such a disaster.....husband would have never let me live it down..
 
Back in business.......mowed 40 acres yesterday and i was darn careful to not to turn too sharp. Although, i dont believe i did that and the broken bolt was just a fluke. But try to tell guys this... :roll:

I love a fresh mowed field..
