Do you guys use this only on cows that have calved and before breeding? But not on pregnant cows? I thought the dead virus wouldn't affect the fetus?
I bought a bottle and was going to use it on all my cows but the guy at the feed store said to only use it on my spring calvers that have already calved and not on my fall calvers.My spring calvers are done and I won't turn the bulls out until june 1st.

Do you guys ever use vira shield 6 on calves 3 months and older before weaning?

Have used it on Pregnant cows and calves before weaning with no problems

It's a killed vaccine, safe to use on pregnant cows. Check the label and be careful where you get your info from. Just because they work in a store doesn't mean they know anything about the product.
