well dun i know a good bit about vicon balers.we bought a new vicon RP 1562 variant baler.an we ran it for 10 or 12yrs with no troubles.i think we blew 2 or 3 bearings.an thats it.brother decided to bale hay hooked it up.an put the wrong hitch pin in an took off.well the hitch pin fell through.an jerked the pto shalft loose from the baler.an messed the yolk up.sold the baler to friend after letting it set 2 or 3yrs.he had a pto shaft that fitt.cleaned it up greased it.hooked it up took it to the field an started baling hay with it.
