Everyone in my area has switched to Long Range. Between Long Range, IGR Mineral, and the Vet Gun, I have almost zero Horn flies. Still having an issue with some face flies. Had some Pinkeye issues, but Draxxin takes care of it in no time.

Been thinking about trying Long Range. It's a little pricey but if it does what I have heard It would be worth it.

Brad how often have you had to use the vet gun this year?

Started long range this year. Fly control, knock on wood, is best we've ever had this year. Use ear tags and Purina Av-4 w/Altosid as always (we have a neighbor that doesn't treat). Last few years we would've used vet gun at least twice by now, havn't thought about it even a split second this year ....

River, when I worked the cows this April I put bayer cylencer pour on, I had to use the Vet gun come First of June and then again toward the end of July.....it lasts for about 6 weeks is what I have noticed. Been really impressed with it, don't have to shoot the calves, they get what they need from the cows and don't have any flies either.
