Valentines Day gift from me to wife took place at 0500.

Me: "Hon - happy Valentines Day - come to the barn - we have so many new lambs I need help sorting."

Out to the barn she comes in her housecoat with her boots on and a wool hat on - through the snow - with book, pencil and a couple of crackers to munch on.

Thirty minutes later we had all thirty lambs sorted with the correct mothers.

Me: "OK - we're done - let's go to the house - I will make you a coffee"

And that was the day - it is just another Hallmark moment designed to get suckers to spend money on LOVE - and if that love needs this Valentines Day with lots of cash spent on more STUFF - then in my opinion it is a schitty relationship and needs more than Valentines Day!

Now on the other hand - if she would find me a nice, new, 120 HP, all wheel drive, cab equipped loader tractor - I might break down and take her out to the local rib joint!
