vacum cleaner problems

Wife asked me to vacum and I didn't want to admit I didn't know how to run the dang thing. Anyone know how to get one like this started?

Did you check to be sure it has gas? Did you use the bulb primer, needs three pushes. Is it choked?

You have to plug it in for the electric starter to work!
