I submitted this yesterday but can't find it so I assume it did not post. My question was "at what age and what vaccines do I need to start on new season calves. I have one about 5 weeks and one 4 months. Thanks.

Whatever your vet recommends, vaccines vary by location & even operation. Most our calves get their first vaccines around 3 months, the exception is bull calves get Covexin 8 when we band day 1 or 2. Our first shots are Ultrabac 7, Pinkeye & worming. Second shots at appx 6 months are Ultrabac, Triangle 4+PHK, worming & heifers get Lutalyse.

Covexin 8 - Calvary 9, and Triangle 10 is what we use here. Modified live vaccines I stay away from, just not worth the risk. IMO To be honest my neighbors that give no vaccinations have less problems than we do it seems.

At birth, there are some excellent vaccines to provide early protection.
InForce 3 by Zoetis. Provides immunity against:
1.Bovine Rhinotracheitis
2. Parainfluenza3
3. Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus
It is a MLV vaccine administered intranasal.
Also at birth, to protect against scours, you can use First Defense. It protects against coronavirus and E. Col K99. The coronavirus component is MLV.
At six months of age, I vaccinate with:
1. Covexin 8 to protect against the 8 species of Clostridial bacteria. It is a Bacterin/toxoid.
2. Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 to protect against the 5 FP viruses (that component is an MLV) and leptospira bacteria. You can also get it in a combination that includes vibriosis caused by the bacteria Campylobacter fetus.
Note: Don't be so quick to dismiss MLV (modified live virus) vaccines. The fear Grit is referring to relates to abortion. Your question is about vaccinating calves. Abortion is a moot issue in calves.

Edit to add, like Raven, all calves get a First Defense bolus, preferably within the first 12 hours.
