he's had access to pasture but here in east. washington, we don't have much for pasture since our irrigation was shut off in aug. here in our valley anyway. of course we have jr. irrigation rights so that didn't help. back to your question, there isn't any grass to speak of, actually no change in feed for the last month. That's when i started the show feed.

Do you know what the protein level is in the grass hay you're feeding?

I use baking soda every feeding when I Feed heavy grain. I feel it's cheap insurance.
