Update On Steers

Here's another update on the steers! Today was the weigh-in and tagging day. Mo weighed 995 lbs and Butterscotch weighed 763 lbs. I figured that Mo gained 141 lbs in 57 days at 2.66 lbs per day. I figured Butterscotch gained 131 lbs in 57 days at 2.47 lbs per day. They are almost all the way broke to lead and are coming along nicely in weight gain and halter breaking.

Buterscotch might have a shot if you get his daily gain up to about 3.5. I don't see much future for Mo as a Show Steer..

I agree with AAOK, Butterscotch might work for you if you get him where he needs to be weight wise on show day.

I like butterscotch's color, its not very popular, but it is eye catching. A little more hair will help for both of them. For the most part, butterscotch is the better steer to me. I also dont think that Mo has much of a show career ahead of him, but dont let us stop you. Keep workin on them, see what you get, we might be surprised.

Well the pics aren't that good of Mo cause he's pretty big so it's hard to get a really good pic of him when your alone taking the pics. He does look better in real life.
