As I type, my husband, Van, is in Duluth. He said that about 3:00 a.m. a wind storm hit (woke him up) and remained until this afternoon. He said it was cold, cold, cold.

He said that he and others were watching someone trying to jog against the wind. I asked if it looked like she was in slow motion. He said it looked like all the effort she was putting into it got her nowhere.

My sympathies go out... :lol:

Its a go then. I am standing in front of the liquor store waiting for it to open. I need more rum as I will be cleaning the chicken coop today. This is my "coffee" break. Shouldn't be a problem with the Miller Lite I can see a stack of it through the window.

Kipper snacks and Pickled Herring can I jump on for a ride, once I get off of the plane. I'll bring some English Bagels, they are different to the New York Bagel, once tasted wont ever go back. yum my mouth is watering, now I'll have to make a trip to London to get some.....

Girls, this road trip thing is shaping up nicely. I have a few additions. Lets get an RV. Before you guys start laughing at it here's why. We get one with a refridgerator and bathroom! See, storage for snacks and beer and no need to stop for the rest room. If my memory serves me correctly, Boss Lady is from Wisconsin. We put her in charge of cheese. We also could suck up to some of the other gals from down Texas way and than we would never have to come home!

What do you think mnmt is gonna think of his thread when he gets back? :lol:

Is 42 degrees out and raining . I have just tossed ruby slippers out the door so I can't possibly leave once I'm there (too bad ~ they went so nice with jeans and carhartt!).
I can be ready to go at a moments notice!
