What are the chances a 15/16 year old bull that has never ran with cows would be fertile if put with a herd? Last bull in a bloodline and I would like to get a bull calf from him.
This isn't a bad idea to determine if he is fertile or not, but it might also be the best way to assure you get the best chance to continue his blood line. If he is fertile, start collecting semen from him immediately and store it. In that way, if you lose him, or he can't preform, you can still create progeny.Maybe get him semen checked and collected first.
Well... I've got to ask since no one else has...What are the chances a 15/16 year old bull that has never ran with cows would be fertile if put with a herd? Last bull in a bloodline and I would like to get a bull calf from him.
