First off, yes I know your not supposed to compare different contemporary groups. Yet everyone does it when you open your abs, genex, accelerated, catalog.
Ok, I'm looking at 2 different groups of Hereford bulls. One has done ultrasound. So they have ultrasound data & carcass epd. Other just has epd. Normally I don't compare like this. Due to outside factors I am. The one with ultrasound data has sale after the other. No sure if that sale will be as reasonable as the one that's just showing carcass epds.
Most Angus sales I go to have ultrasound data & that's what I go off of. Yet epds for growth are what your supposed to go by. What do you guys use?
