I like the size of those racks on the deer.. cant say much about the furry fellas..
I would say a .270 or 30-06 with a good scope will take care of any of them..

Looks like a good crop this year sky!

Yes sir but its always like that till the bucks start splitting up and fighting then maybe 1 or 2 will stick around that area. We have a gagillion does around here so they may end up anywhere . However the bears live here in about a 5 mile radius and I hope I can pluck one.

In my area you can't hunt with anything above a .22 I can only use shotguns or black powder to hunt deer or bear or bow as well.

I thought we were talking hunting here not football. You might get by tackling the deer but I would want no part of tackling a bear.

lmao I didn't even realize I put that. I must have been watching football.. Does this sound better..
I will have to BLAST them with a bow blk powder or shotgun. Come on now you know you always wanted to tackle a bear... There is 2 one for me and one for you. I am such a nice guy I will even let you tackle the bigger bear. :lol2:

Are you saying they will let you shoot deer with a .22 rimfire? What is the purpose of this restriction on rifles? Population density?

No sir you can't use that on a deer you have to use a black powder rifle or shotgun. Here is the regulations and a link to the stupid rules of each county.

http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/hunting/re ... nances.pdf

12. It is lawful to use muzzleloading rifles
for game animals in the regular hunting
season.
13. It is lawful to hunt deer with muzzleloading
rifles only from stands elevated
10 feet.
38. It shall be unlawful to use a rifle of a caliber
larger than .22 rimfire except that
groundhogs may be hunted with a rifle
of a caliber larger than .22 rimfire
between March 1 and August 31 and
coyotes may be hunted for the entire
year.

OK, I will tackle the bigger bear but you go first on the small one. I want to watch your technique. I might learn something about bear tackling. You know, to improve my own performance.
