Tyson Nebraska plant closing

It will be interesting which weight class the feeders will want when things level out. This Friday night announcement and no follow up has been the norm lately.

This closing should not have a huge effect since the shackle space is at 85% full. What it will do is chase a lot of the longs out of the mkt and there will be fortunes made and lost on the CBOT.

Short trading week with the holiday, so it will be interesting to see how the traders will cover the weekend.

The thing to remember is that in Corporate America a "loss" is anything below projected earnings. This makes it hard to really tell if a company was out money or didn't make money.
