A 3% buyer’s premium will be charged on all purchased items. This premium will be capped at $350 per item and sales tax will be charged on the full purchase amount unless you have a qualifying exemption. For internet purchases this will be in addition to the 2.5% internet premium. So, for internet purchases there will be a 5.5% buyer's premium.
Example 1: You purchase an item for $10,000. The 3% premium would be $300, so the total due for your purchase would be $10,300 plus tax.
Example 2: You purchase an item for $20,000. The buyer’s premium would be capped at $350, so the total due would be $20,350 plus tax.
Buyers and Sellers Premiums:
1) Seller's premium - 10%
2) Buyer's premium for all purchases in the auction - 3%
