On some of the livestock pictures there have been several comments made about "out of balance" stock or cattle that look like two different animals sewn together frankenstein style. I have a cow like this so I thought I would post a pic to give those folks that are new a clear picture of what is being described. This is a 4 yr old cow that gave me the perfect pose to highlight this issue. She is on my cull list as soon as she weans off the 5 month old calf on her now. She bred back late which sealed my decision. It looks like she is two different cows....a front and a rear attached behind the shoulders. She reminds me of an articulating tractor in build :lol:

wouldnt use a bull like that, or retain anything from... but if one was working in ""my commercial herd"", and that was her only fault, id let her hang around.... she'd eventually cull herself out.. i say this because i got one just like her :P and she is out of my best cow...

I'm not sure what genetic thing jumped out of the wood pile on her. Her momma is a commercial cow that is built right and her sire was a bit piched but not bad at all. Could be something from back on her mommas side. Nothing from her has been retained....all terminal.

I have to :deadhorse: her to get the saddle on every day.
The heifer calf that she has right now looks really good. No saddle marks at all. Kinda strange.....
