I timed AI'd my second calvers on May 28th, (bull turned out 2 weeks later,)and had a calf this afternoon. It is a #37 bull. Very lively, doing well. Obviously this is VERY early. She calved at 4 pm, and is laying comfortably in the barn with her calf at 8 pm. If she has twins in her, how long could the wait be? I have had twins from my herd before, and usually by the time they get the first one clean the second is on it's way. It just seems odd to have such a small calf so early. Any thoughts or imput? Thanks!
