She is not up yet... :lol: We worked all day burning lumber and loading tin from the tornado damage and we were wasted last night! :( But you are right...Alice will love em! ;-) They are cute little boogers... :D

The little ones are Simbrahs. Our first set of twins and hopefully our last. The bull calf will turn into a steer project and the freemartin will go to the sale barn.

Someone ask if you could tell if your cow as going to have twins. This was the first cow we had you could watch her belly and see the calves move inside. Her belly looked like it was doing the wave.
 
I have always heard that you don't want twins. But it is hard to keep that in mind when you look at how cute they are!

Because of freemartin issues, and sometimes the cow can't support 2.

THey are absolutely adorable :D
 
My neighbor's heifers are in the pasture next to us (b/c we watch them for him). The first one to calve had twin heifers, 3 weeks ago. Both are doing just fine - that is until last weekend. He fed hay on the other end of the pasture and one calf slept while the others went to the hay. She stayed where she was all day, night and the next morning, bawling every so often. Momma had the other calf and didn't think about this little one, but my cows were sure concerned. :D

We caught the little one and used the ATV to haul her over to the herd, where I'm sure she found something to eat.

Both calves are growing equally well and are keeping up with the other calves that were born a few day later.
 
Congrats....what pretty babies. We haven't had twins in 20 yrs or so. But I have this one cow that is either going to have a big one or she just might have twins. I was watching her yesterday and I could see the calf move inside of her,I stood in front of her and both of sides were moving way out. Like its 2 stretching. She is due the end of this month, So I guess we shall see
