We use it, a lot of bang for the buck. Mine is running $25/ton del/spread. I've heard of others in the area paying $30-$35/ton and some folks south of us are paying a lot more than that. Usually put down 2 tons/acre on the hayfields and 1.5-2 tons on the pastures. Need to run soil samples on your land yearly and substitute in chemical fertilizer from time to time to keep things in balance. I'm putting chemical on a lot of the hayfields this year, just about crapped myself when I saw what it was going to cost. I've noticed the fields we use litter on do not require lime as often as the chemically fertilized ones.
