Dun, what type of yelper do you use?

I used to use the old "Snuff Can" or "Wingbone" type but went to a "Mouth yelper" because it frees the hands up.

Slate. The mouth yelpers won;t work for me because very few turkeys gag when the try to call. I just can;t get those things to work without gagging and almost puking from having it in my mouth.

That's about what the doc calls it. I almost puke when that wooden stick gets poked in my moth by the doc

I am jealous as I love to turkey hunt, havent seen a turkey since Rita. Used to watch them in the pasture every day.

Not like in past years. The drought the previous 2 years really nocked down the population. In the winter we used to have flocks of 75-100 birds running together. Now we rarely see more then 20-25 in one flock.
