First time poster here and a few years into raising cattle. Trying to start working on quality instead of quantity without breaking the bank. Wondering what yall think about this commercial bull i picked up a few weeks ago? 12 months old weighing 1025 with Jorgensen bloodline. Thanks for any input.

I know it is probably hard to do right now, but would love to see his feet. I can't see his scrotum, so do not know how it is developing. Weight seems good on him. If you haven't done so, I would worm him too.

What is a commercial bull? I'm not sure about using a bull with no history on heifers for sure. Always remember a bull is half of the calf.

Half a picture , half a bull , does not look like a keeper, If you are wanting to build a good blood line, invest in a good bull.
