Being a Reagan democrat that never went back. I knew we had corruption, just didn’t realize how deep it was.
When Trump knocked the monarchy out it was on.
2016 was supposed to have been a Clinton or Bush.
I am totally sick of both of them. I can’t think of anything positive about either.
This is totally our fault for not imposing term limits on politicians. Even if it isn’t law we should be smart enough to not let them homestead.

Regardless of where one stands on the issue it would stand the case against Trump would fail on legal grounds.
At issue is the combining of charges under one heading when the provision for the filing of charges clearly indicates
each charge must be filed and voted on separately. Otherwise it would be impossible to convict on one and not another.
Of the seven pathetic 'Quislings' who voted to impeach I can only hope their political careers become a very recent memory.

Problem is good, honest people don’t like to get too deep in politics anymore due to the mud slinging and all the hell your family gets put through. Just look at the Kavenaugh deal. We have a local JP that got drug through the mud by an opponent, used to not see that in the local level. They somehow found where he’d went in a porn site on his personal computer and it was printed on the front page of the local paper. He still won, but that’s scary if people will go to that extreme to dig up dirt on you for a political position that pays $400/ month. And everyone has some dirt somewhere in their life or their family’s life they don’t want drug out in public.
