We've seen them on 52 towards Amicalola falls. They stop traffic for a few miles then copter comes in and cuts really cool.

Yep, like a big disc mower.

They use that gizwilly to trim the pipeline.
It doesn't look anymore efficient than the track and boom saw. They must have a reason.

Some of the areas i have seen it used wasn't easily accessed by machinery. Plus its faster.
