ND has not had a shelter in place order like most states. Now word is that ND is requiring folks who cross from MN to self quarantine for 14 days. We have quite a bit of feed and cattle that cross this border. Not sure how trucking will work?

We let anyone into MN. Part of a bus load comes up from Chicago every day to enjoy the 10,000 benefits.

ND said they would make an exceptions for essential workers like law enforcement and health care workers. They seem to be a little embarrassed about the "travel quarantine".

Some US politicians seem to love making a daily update that includes unenforceable and irrational policies.

There are countries that require you to have a tracking ap on your phone, so they can inforce quarantines.

I am not far from the Oregon/Idaho line. There is literally nothing between here and the state line. Go out to the interstate (about 5 miles from my house) and there are more cars with Idaho plates than Oregon. Throw in the cars with Washington and Utah plates and it is vastly more out of state plates than Oregon people.

I'll be crossing the line around 6:00 tomorrow morning and plan to quarantine at the farm for the next 72 hours before returning home. Hope they don't catch me.

I have a back gate on the border between Qld and NSW. Our border crossings are either blocked with concrete barriers or have a police check point. I am sure there must be a business opportunity there on my back gate.

We ran down to Ontario, Oregon to the nearest Home Depot. We needed more paint to finish painting the barn. Stopped at Love's to gas up. The Burnt River Farms Cannabis shop is right next door. This is only 3 or 4 miles from Idaho. Pot is legal in Oregon but not in Idaho. There was about 20 cars in the parking lot. Only 2 with Oregon plates. The rest all had Idaho plates. I guess it is alright to cross the state line to get stoned.

Buddy in MI has been keeping me apprised of the edicts their governor has been putting out...
Ordered garden centers & greenhouses closed...guess she thinks folks don't need to be able to purchase seeds or plants to grow their own food...
Latest...she outlawed use of motorized boats...so...no fishing from a boat with a gas motor or electric trolling motor.

Our governor here in KY suspended sale of nonresident hunting & fishing licences...with Spring turkey season right on top of us, and prime fishing

In her defense on the garden stores, Michigan is a month or more away from outdoor gardening season. Nobody needs live plants right now, and seeds can be ordered online. No idea what the motorized boat ban is about.
