Rough weather in downtown Atlanta last night.
A possible tornado hit the Georgia Dome and CNN headquarters.
First, the dome:

However, there was no announcement of the approaching storm for the 18,000 fans inside the Georgia Dome for the Southeastern Conference basketball tournament. The first sign was rumbling and the rippling of the fabric roof. Catwalks swayed and insulation rained down on players during overtime of the Mississippi State-Alabama game, sending fans fleeing toward the exits and the teams to their locker rooms.

"I thought it was a tornado or a terrorist attack," said Mississippi State guard Ben Hansbrough, whose team won 69-67 after an hourlong delay under a roof with at least two visible tears.

Second, CNN headquarters.
Now, the media always get the least literate person in the trailer park to describe the event. "It sounded jist lak a freight train." So, when the tornado hit CNN, I wonder who they interviewed to describe the event. I wasn't watching, so I don't know.

Too bad Jogee, I don't see any damage to the Capitol building.

Seriously, those folks in the dome had to be scared witless. I sure will take my chances out here on the farm rather than in a building with heavy things like scoreboards and such over my head.

My brother was in the dome yesterday afternoon when it hit. He said at first they thought it was an earthquake when the dome started shaking and cables were swaying.

He said the area around the dome looks like a war zone now.

Just saw the replays on ESPN. Pretty scary. Lucky no one was seriously hurt. I think I heard they moved the rest of the games to Tech's arena.

We don't really know how bad it was just yet. There are 2 reported deaths so far. We got alot of rain but no winds. It was on a path just a few miles South of us.
