I know I haven't been on here much in a couple of months. I've had several members get in touch with me this afternoon to check on me, so I thought I would fill in the gaps. A tornado hit my home and farm this afternoon at a few minutes after 4:00. We had one come thru in April 2006 that literally leveled my home, and operation. This one was not nearly as intense. I lost my shop completely, the roof of my horse barn, most of my working pens, and the house is still very much livable. I was home when it hit, but thankfully my wife and children were not. I feel the same way about this one, as did the last one. I'm glad nobody was injured. The rest is sticks, and stones. All replaceable.

Bf glad you are OK and great to hear from you. I had damage last Saturday from same type thing I know how you feel. My kids and grandma was home luckily house fine. Buildings are OK lost tin and kids suffered a loss there swingset was demolished.

Thanks. The mess is the worse part. In all truthfulness, I wasn't completely put back from the last one.

Glad everyone is safe. If you need anything let me know, it is not that far if you some help.

I appreciate the offers. This one is small beans compared to the last one. I'm guessing close to $100,000 in damage. My previous insurance company was great to work with. They dropped me of course. I've never had a claim with this company. I'm kinda nervous to see how they pay out. Still I gotta say nobody was hurt, and that is the main thing.

My dads house is fine, and all the animals are to. I went ahead, and got all the debris out of my horse lots, so maybe none of them will pull a kamakazi.

A school bus went down the road about 5 minutes before it hit. Looked like it had 35-40 kids on it. This situation could have been really bad for a bunch of families. I hadn't even stuck my head out yet after it went thru, and had praised God for his grace.

So sorry you have to cope with all of this again, Bigfoot, but also very pleased everyone is safe and well.
Prayers for you, your family and neighbors for strength and peace as you move forward.

Really happy everyone is safe. As you said, material things can be fixed/replaced. Loved ones can not. God has blessed you.

The adjuster came by this afternoon. It looks like my $2500 deductable will only be applied once. I was afraid it would be applied to each structure. That would have been $15,000. I was pretty happy about that. Just like the last one, it was heck on gates, fences, and water troughs. There not covered. I had to remind myself a few times today how good it was nobody was hurt.

Would you mind sharing what company? We got hit 2 years ago by a bad hail storm. Got worried they would cancel us but agent said they could not due to natural disaster.
