My ragweed it starting to die off..Had a good crop last year,12/14 ft tall and bases big as my wrist...all my grassburs are wilting too--the grasshoppers and fire ants are doing well tho,now to find a use for all these things :) ;)
Of course you would want to check with the local Ex. office to see what the feed value of fire ants are.

Then after they're collected you could chop the ragweed and put the ants and the ragweed into a TMR mixer and have an appetizing ration. Seriously, we are pretty dry here too, corn has no ears and is drying quicker than anybody can get it all chopped and forget about combineing it, it's not gonna make it that far before it all looks like tall raisins.

I been pretty worried myself all summer long about the year bein a total loss, but luckily we had enough rain these last 2 weeks ta be savin our bullnettle crop :roll:

I been pretty worried myself all summer long about the year bein a total loss, but luckily we had enough rain these last 2 weeks ta be savin our bullnettle crop :roll:
