Very close to where my oldest daughter waits to get on the school bus.In fact quite often she walks back there to get out of the wind.

The blacks did a lot of damage to our oats fields - so I practised the triple S a lot that summer. Figure I put a dozen in the coulee behind the house. Might be a good idea for you as well. The darned things will come right into your yard if there is no big dog around to keep them away.
Stay well

She is a careful girl...she noticed something big was in the poplars in the morning and she got the hell out of there.

Thank God, you and your wife that your daughter is careful and got the hell out of dodge! Good girl! I think I'll stick with Charlie the lonesome cougar. At least he runs when he sees people.

Msscamp... If i shot her...I would have to shoot the cubs too.Especially as she is likely still milking.

I realize that she is probably still milking as the cub I saw appears to be pretty small, but I don't know if mother bears usually keep their cubs with them, or if they hide them like a lot of mothers do in nature. I certainly never meant to disrespect you, cast doubt on your character, or imply a lack of caring or respect for a living creature.
