tiny minor irritation - new software question

On the main index page the little circular indicators to the left of each board listing were shoing different colors if you had read all the new posts inside, but now they don't seem to be, although the two horse boards are showing a blue/grey color. all the rest are showing yellow whether there are unread posts or not.

Any ideas?

The colors changed on me today to yellowish/tan and salmon! The circle things are changing but the colors are faint, from yellow unread to white read.
