What's the longest time you've seen between calf 1 and calf 2 of twins being born?

Couple years ago we had a young heifer give birth to seeminly just one calf......since she this was her first calf we pened her and watched her....... it was probably about...O....3 to 4 days until she had her bull calf.....it was born dead. The young heifer died days later. But 3 or 4 days

Usually it's 30 minutes to an hour, but we did have a 3 year old heifer that delivered one twin, and the second twin wasn't born until about 4 hours later.

We had a two year old heifer have a normal sized bull calf at 6 a.m. and at 10 a.m. pushed out a tiny live heifer of a different colour. We had to help the calf to her feet but she was very feisty and determined to live. The heifer reared both and the twins were the same good size when weaned.

A few years back we had a cow that had her calf Mar. 31. I tagged it. The next day (April 1) went to check the cows and the cow had a different calf with her that had no tag, no indication of ever being tagged. No other cow had calved and was missing a calf. I thought I was losing it. Drove around the woods and found her first tagged calf, brought him out and she was happy as a clam with her two calves. Went and told Mom and she wouldn't believe me. Kept saying she wasn't going to fall for it as she knew it was April Fool's Day. :lol:

Had a cow calve on March 1 this year. Come March 6 we went out to check for calves and couldn't find the little guy's mom. Come to find out it was the March 1 cow's calf. 5 days apart. Both alive. No idea how that works.
