I need some advice from people who would know.
I need a three point hitch disc for my Kubota MX5000, 50 hp Tractor. Would the five foot disc work best. Thanks

What he said, I'd pull as much as I could, depends on the disk action and soil conditions.
I'd start looking for an 8 foot. You have 4 wheel drive?

No 4x4. My next tractor will be 4x4 for sure.

I have a 75 hp 2 wheel drive and all it wants when it gets to the damp clay is the 10 foot JD disk I have.

Do they make a three point disk that wide.

Mine is a pull type but the part that is important is what's in the ground
 
Kerley, I pull a six foot 3-point disc with a 1953 NAA. I also use it behind a Ford 3000 diesel (about 45hp I think) and it will pull it in 8th gear. My soil is sandy loam - no black gumbo.
 
You could probably go 8'... definatly a 6'. Add some weights to the back tires and front bumper and it will feel like a new tractor. Also, mount a 55gal drum or some kind of adj weight system on the disc because you will need it to help dig in new ground.
