So, I checked back on this thread - and it's been blocked/closed. Really? A trouble maker comes on the board complaining, and "we" can't tease back?? That's the only thing I see that went wrong. A spoiled kid wants his play ground like it was. People answered him numerous times politely and HE kept talking about this cousin that's an "a-hole".
Was this blocked because of the visitor or because of how "we" handled it?

I'm not trying to get anything started, so hear me out... This wouldn't be happening if the module at the bottom of the page was the module that, until very recently, was Latest Posts or comments, or whatever, "Latest."

Instead of current conversations, I'm being lured into mystery, intrigue, and drama from the past. Since I can resist anything except pain and temptation, here I am, posting on a thread from last year to ask "what the heck happened here!?" 👇🏽

Who did what?!! Was their @$$ handed to them?!?? Did you make 'em cry? Somebody dish.

At least link the original drama!!!!

Alternatively, bringing back the "Latest ______" module will suffice. Not really, but good enough.

There is a "What's New" module.

I think this was the one.

A few days ago there was a teaser module below the Similar Threads at the bottom of every page. Without it for my impulse reading, I keep wandering into old threads. I almost replied to a thread from 2013ish yesterday. That would have been embarrassing.

Thanks!

Talk about not reading the room!

I replied to a 10 year old post. Its not THAT embarrassing...as long as everyone else pretends they didn't see you do it ;)

Testing my brain. Spoiled kid was complaining about multiple family homes belonging to relatives that inherited this piece of land and all shared the land. Some family members were riding bikes or something and "his" family was grazing cattle. I don't know. It was pretty stupid. Maybe others remember better than me (heck, most anyone remembers better than me!!!).

Yeah, if I remember it right it was a situation where somebody’s family owned a house in the middle of property owned by other family members and one of them was going to turn cattle in on a part of it that they hadn’t previously grazed. The op was not happy about the cattle being there,
As I recall he didn’t get the responses that he was probably wanting. A cattle forum isn’t exactly the best place to discuss not wanting cattle.

I feel bad for the OP but I don't think they were going to get what they wanted to hear. Hopefully it is working out for them.
When you refer to your cousin as your "aunt's son" and you're mad she "lets him do what he wants" on property she owns while you LIVE (and presumably do what you want) on property your mom owns, it's not likely that things are working out peacefully. All I can say about that is it's a good thing the dad and uncle have passed on and not witnessing the behavior of the children. Or at least this one. The ranch-minded cousin might be perfectly in the right.

@StrojanHerefords said "You do realize that you have gone to a website full of people who are pro cattle?" and he still thought saying the cattle were destroying the property was a good idea.

Honestly, I don't know how some of ya'll managed to not tell him a little more about himself. I thought you were all helpful and decent. Wonder why it was locked.
