At this cattle seminar yesterday it was discussed doing DNA testing on cattle and checking their markers against others in the breed.
Looking to see if the markers line up with others that tested for tenderness, marbling, feed ratio, rib eye and a few other things.

We have 2 yrs data on our sale bulls, not much but it's a start. Ours is through Igenity. In a few years we can probably tell you something conclusive. :lol2:
