MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A man accused of drunken driving tried to outrun the police but his vehicle wasn't up to the task.

Michael Ginevan of Bunker Hill was driving a riding lawnmower on Runnymeade Road about a mile from his home when a Berkeley County sheriff's deputy attempted to pull him over. Ginevan, 39, allegedly sped away and Deputy J.H. Jenkins stopped his cruiser and gave chase on foot, according to magistrate court records.

Jenkins caught up to the lawnmower after a short chase but Ginevan allegedly wouldn't stop so the deputy pulled him off the machine. Ginevan refused to take a field sobriety test and was arrested. Jenkins then found a case of beer strapped to the lawnmower's front, court records show.

Ginevan was charged with fleeing while driving under the influence and obstructing an officer. He was being held Tuesday at the Eastern Regional Jail on $7,500 bond.

A person who answered the phone at the jail did not know whether Ginevan had hired an attorney. There was no telephone listing for Ginevan in the Bunker Hill area.

WELL, eveidently ya'll ain't familiar with Super Stock, Ridin' Mower Racing! It ain't much on lawn care but it's right good for this sort of event. My guess is that Mr. Ginevan ran out of jet fuel for his sportster!
Also, please reference your map - this area of the state is too close to D.C.!

I got me a wireless laptop for here in the can. When the battery runs down, the guards let me trade it in for a new one but first I have to tell them a funny story about Crowder, Paint, Mike or flaboy. They especially like the stories about Crowder and Paint growing up in different households even though they are non-identical, Siamese twins! Really got the guards confused with that one!

So, what's wrong with what he did? I mean he was out mowing his yard enjoying a few cold ones and sort of drifted out of the yard. Have none of you ever mowed outside your lines?

I bet Barrister Crowder could get him off. He could lay it on so thick it would take a dozer to scrape it off.

Just so happens that Barrister Crowder, will be tied up in court all day today. He's defendin Mike C in a paternity case.

He told me to tell you, not to sweat it, he'll be on your case soon. In the meantime, don't drop the soap!

BullBuyer, how did you strap the beer onto the weedeater? Just curious.

Warpaint, that case against MikeC, is that the 12 year old or the 14 year old?

To properly attach cases of beer to a weedeater - you gotta use one of those cargo nets and several bungee cords. I would've used duct tape but that's what was holding the license plate on the mower.

I hope Crowder can get my case dismissed - I can't afford no long drawn out trial. Plus, getting a character witness is gonna be tough.

I can almost guarantee that your case will be concluded by the turn of the year. (As our firm is paid by the hour)

I'll be handlin all the private detective work on your case. Already found 3 character witnesses, who can do it for 500 apeice. Plus travel expenses of course. Oh, plus meals. (not to worry too much, these gals only eat 5 times a day.)

5 meals per day !!! Could be worse, some of Crowder's wommen folk probably only STOP eating 5 times / day.
Let me contact our ol' buddy cfpinz and see if he can advance me some money to get me through!

As for the witnesses, there's a few women around here that we need to designate as "hostile towards the defendant's case". I really can't explain their feelings towards me but I'm sure it had something to do with feelings.

Boys, Crowder is in trouble..............."Tied Up" is right.

After the judge dismissed my case they "tied him up" in the courtroom cell with a guy named "Big Bubba".

When everyone came back in the courtroom after lunch, Crowder was nekkid, lying on the floor with a big smile on his face..............

He told me to tell ya'll somethin' about he'll have a "Big Bubba" tattoo before the sun goes down?

Bullbuyer,

I will represent you in pertains to the complaint filed in inferior court, Opps, I meant superior court.

I will however caution you, that I'll need a large retainer in this matter, due to the charges the State of Tennessee has against you down at the 'Man Cave" and your sick twisted "Boy George" immitation and photo shoot. As your Counsel I will have to have a few demands typed up by my Sexretary Bambi.

I have arranged your bail from the Hookem & Bookem bonding agency.

Tommorow morning we will try and seat a jury of your Peers. So far I have volunteers from a few ladies of the night, the town drunk, and Lammie, Paint and Flatoy.

MikeC another out burst by you will be dealt in the most industrious manner.

Not much help here in the money department. But there's a Little Debbie plant in the next valley over. I'll load up the dump truck and head your way. Should be there in a week or so if I leave tonight.

I talked to the judge and told him that I was like that song on the radio - "I just want to be a big rock star".
He told me that I was going about it all wrong, said I didn't have the looks for it. Then I reminded him of Alice Cooper - he said he would take it under consideration when he talks to Crowder later today. Wonder if Crowder knows that we're on Hillbilly Mean Time?
Sorry, I meant to say Mean Hillbilly Time - oops!
Gotta run, the walkin' boss says we're gonna get this road work done - TODAY!
