I was amazed when I watched this video... I guess the part that disturbed me the most was when the guest (dad) said that half the parents in that school district were OK with teaching this at Middle School!

Come on people... it's call accountability with your children!! Ethics and Morals will not be found in a school book! I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I bet if you polled the parents that were OK with this type of curriculum, you would find that none of them attend church or claim to be a Christian.

The reason this crap is being taught in our schools is because God is not allowed in the classroom anymore!

That's right... I am not afraid to say it!

You don't need God in the classroom. Train'em up right at home and the kids will have God in their heart and it will show in the classroom, on the playground and everywehre else. Make changes on the home front first !!!!!!

Agree 100% TB! I was merely making the reference that God is not allowed in the classroom anymore. Teach your children well and God will always be present with them. My point was that if we were teaching what we ought to be teaching... I don't believe that we would be discussing this issue about this type of sex education to Middle Schoolers.

I don't see a need for it to be taught in school either. But I have a bit of a problem about "formal" religion or prayer in school. I was raised to know I could pray anytime/ anywhere. I wouldn't have wanted to ahve to sit thru some muslim kid unrolling his rug, facing the east and praying to Allah...then wait for the jewish kid to do the same thing. Say the pledge to the flag, start learning. Whip the a$$ of anyone who messes up this order. ;-)

I'd say best they learn in school than on the streets, and find out the hard way, as they say 'fore warned is fore armed' wish I had had better education on this when I was young.

If they are raised as street kids, they are probably learning far worse on the streets. Don't need to be taught this at school in the first place.

Keep 'em off the streets. Putting them in a church would be a good start.

No one says, "Birds and Bees" anymore.

Farm kids have already seen plenty by the time they are school age. Calving etc.
