Our kids brought home notices last week in their back packs. The Mn Dept Of Ed has told Mn schools to put a hold on all beef products. Decision was to be made by the end of this week regarding what was decided. I called the superintendant of schools, she says the hold has been extended at least another week. The note simply said "treatment of cattle before processing". She said she was unsure whether they were upset about the cattle being prodded (a treatment issue) or the potential of diseased cattle being in the food chain. First thing I thought when I read it was "This ain't good...."
