Things Are Happening...

around here. The boys made their first premium sale in the County show with our two home-raised heifers this past weekend. Tonight, the first calf of the season was born, a 69# heifer, dark red with pigmented eyes. She seems to be quite vigorous, and was making a spirited attempt at finding a teat when I left them. I could best be described as thankful right now. :tiphat:

Thank you. I do intend to get some photos on board. Will have to get the show pics developed, and have yet to photo the new baby.

It's amazing how quickly those little fellows go from staggering to their feet to moving at a pretty good clip across the pasture...as in about 30 minutes!
