Jo - Do you have warnings? Or just anticipating that you'll get them? Whatever, I'm sure you've done all that can be done to be safe, because you're one of those kind of guys. Let us know if you have trouble. Prayers are with you.

I'm sure Jo got into his underground bunker so he will be alright. He is too ornery and ugly to get hurt by a nader............now a snake is another matter.

well after Jo's recent use of the brand new word 'nads'

tornadoes isn't exactly the first thing I thought of.

It got exciting for a few hours. House near my MIL's is completely flattened. Don't think anyone was hurt though. Siren was going off and it was raining cats and dogs. I couldn't see anything but water coming down. Radio station went off after saying the super cell was heading our direction. That became a little unnerving casue I didn't know which way to run. Another fella saw it coming and jumped in his truck and left his home and drove to safety. His house was flattened too. Droughts definitely over for a little while. We got a bunch of rain. I need to go check a farm close to where the tornado hit but I'm not going to bother. It will be in just as bad a mess tomorrow as it will tonight so no need to worry about it. It is what it is. Last year same thing happened at the same farm. My firewood pile is getting low so I imagine I'll be replenishing it shortly.

It got a little scarey but I never saw any hail. When you see that its a pretty safe bet are screwed. Was a bit eerie when the wind suddenly stopped.

As teens, when we were learning to drive, Dad would two phrases most frequently: "Quit driving like you're Mario!!!" or, "Go, Nad, go!" We figured out the first instruction early; we knew the command with second, but it took until we were older to figure out the humor that went with it. Love you, Pop!

Initially I thought he meant Naders as in modern day Ralph Naders LOL. The it dawned on me (Duh!) he meant tornados.

Glad you're okay. it sure has been rough lately for many folks. Saw a 'blip' on the Weather Channel this morning about some poor guy whose house was nailed by one last year, and the new one being built got nailed (some feet away form last years wreckage) last night/this morning. I think I'd have to move, either that or build an underground house.

every time I see that word 'Nads' it leaves a strange thought in my mind...'nadder' as I said means nothing and 'go nads' are your nuts. :?
