Yes, it's the time of year that I get lost in the only sport season I truly over indulge in..... college football. Two days before we go to Jerry World and take on LSU. Tonight the season gets kicked off with a pretty good Wisconsin playing UNLV, I'll watch some of that staring at 5 Pacific time. A couple of games tomorrow. Then we get to see how good Kathie's team when they take on a very tough Georgia, who's her team again..... not the blue devils .... maybe statan's blue men? :) Just kidding around but Boise State well have their hands full playing Georgia at Georgia. Won't get to see that game, seems like something more important starts at the same time.

TB, what's going on with A&M leaving the Big 12? I have heard it's going to cost them 28 million to leave? Also heard one report that (like you said) Virginia Tech is planning on going to the Sec. Also BYU and I can't recall the other team off the top of my head joining the Big 12? As I typeI feel I may be getting two reports mixed up.... Any help? :? :?

Alan I think it's just a follow thru on the "Longhorn Network" thing that UT did...tired of it being Texas and the other 11 (now 8). Froom what I hear anytime the SEC adds teams they can renegotiate their TV deals etc so it could mean big money for both SEC and A&M. They'll probably make the money back very quickly but I've also heard it will cost the state of Texas a huge chunk of money unless the Ags can keep playing UT, Baylor, TxTech, etc. ......but it could also be the death blow to the Big 12-2

Alan better buckle the chin strap...tonight is the night. Hope the ducks take it to them. By the way, have your heard "Okla Univ" is looking at leaving Big 12....sounds like the death of the conference if near.

TCU/Baylor about wore out the turf they were scoring sof fast. LSU QBack is in jail so don't know who his back up is or if he's been out of jail long enough to get any practice in himself. :lol2:

Bummer!!, for the second game in a row we got out powered at the line (Auburn was the D-line, LSU was both the D and O lines). No excuses we got beat, bad passes, bad routes, back to back fumbles by a true freshmen, too many dumb penalties, out played on the front line on both sides of the ball. Time to drink and cry..... More tomorrow.

Okay my tears have dried, 3 fumbles that turned into 21 LSU points, and (I think) 14 penilties for Oregon in their opener. Why couldn't we open up against Washington st. or a Cal Poly? We should not tumble too far, but I see georgia falling a little, Auburn may drop a bit, they just didn't look good.

Oregon's got some work to do, but on with the season.
