I decided to use my hunting truck 00' F-150 to pull a tractor about 15 miles so I could fix the roads before we hunt since its rutted out was gonna box blade it. I should have just drove the motor grader instead or use another truck. This is what happened. Yes the axle snapped at the end of the wheel I guess after 280k miles of towing the bearing went and overheated the axle and it snapped at the wheel tore everything up. The bearing galled onto the axle.
