The runs

I have a few cows that have had the runs for quite some time. The vet checked them for worms, coccidiosis, etc. Can't find anything. He's an ole' cow hand himself and said not to worry about it.

I figured with the dry weather they wouldn't have the runs. Could they be eating something that causes it? Only about 20% of them have the runs. The rest are dry. All of them look and act healthy. No weight loss, although 2 of them look a little bloated.

ok i know your cows have. they have a case of sours.your vet shouldve told you theres a shot for that. i haveny had to shoot for sours in a while.the shot is called atropine. lest ways that what i used yrs ago.would give 2 or 3 shots an clear emm right up. so talk to your vet. scott
