Just 15 months ago our Son in Law [24 years old] was diagnosed with type 1 acute Leukemia. A five month max survival.

2 full body radiation treatments then max chemotherapy. Very nearly killed him.

They had to kill his immune system, blood type, and did.

He was type 0 now A pos, his DNA has changed, his hair was blond, it came back red and curly.

Before the cancer he was plagued with all types of allergies and allergic conditions, Now he doesn't seem to have any.

It was 1 year ago yesterday he had the Chord Blood Stem Cell Transplant. A new procedure, and even doctors didn't know what to expect. His 1 year checkup was VERY GOOD!

The procedure was done at the U of MN one of only three hospitals that could do it.

The Chord Blood Donner was from a health baby girl born in England.
My Son In Law and this little girl have a lot in common.

Just 2 years ago he would have had no chance of survival. Now he is almost back.

I think The USA has a very good medical system.

Yes, look at Lance Armstrong. As far along as he was when his cancer was detected, it's a medical miracle that he survived, much less won more championships.
