The Last Weekend Before School (lots pics)

Well, the kids are back to school, and here is what we did on the last summer weekend....

It was Armed Forces Day at our closest base, which is in Moose Jaw, Sk. And it was Free admission, so we had planned to attend. The highlight of the whole thing was the Air Show which featured our Snowbirds.

Here is how it went.

We were little late getting there, and this is what we saw as we arrived

Then it went on to the Tutor Jets

And as we got closer we saw these

Then it was time for the rescue helicopter demonstration

Apparently this is what they do in their spare time for fun :lol: :banana:

Then we got to see the F-18 demonstrate its stuff, for some reason the kids thought it was loud :o

And for the Grand Finale we got to see the Snowbirds show their stuff

They put on an awesome show, and the whole thing was a lot more successful than the last Air Show we attended there, where there was a plane crash.....
