I just watched for 2nd time Tom Cruise staring in "The Last Samuri". Very interesting battle scenes! Given this thought...
Am curious to know how Hollywood "correographs" battle scenes such as this? Do they get 2 or 3 groups doing a controlled "fight" and then "cut and paste", copy, copy to make a crowd? I can't imagine they would have dozens or hundreds of guys fighting with swords, knives, etc., in complete mayhem without someone getting cut...lol. Same goes for other battle type scenes where they use clubs, maces, spears, arrows, etc...
Anyone have any "inside information" on how these scenes are created and made??
Inquiring minds want to know...lol.
