hello, just found this website searching for some info on the bull "The Golden Child". I was wondering if anyone here has used him and what kind of calfs, size wise he has thrown. Ive heard, at a resent steer show, that some of his calfs have been over 110+lbs. and was searching to see if there was anything out there on the net about it.

also was wondering if anyone knows if there is a website out there that rates AI bulls, with peoples comments on them?
thanks for any info.

Being that he is a Heat Wave son, I wouldn't expect anything less than a big blocky calf. I think he is out of a Who Made Who cow so the odds that he is calving ease are stacked against him.

I have only seen a couple golden child calves. The ones I have seen were heifers but sure didn't look to be the broody type that a feller would retain. They were pretty "steery".

If you can get them on the ground with out killing them or the mamma cow you should have a marketable terminal calf.

Good luck to ya.
