I don't have a comment other than that was very eye opening. Not just the percentage stated but the potus stance on the subject. I think I need to check myself back in to society. Blissful ignorance is not serving me very well.

Our local jailer told me not long ago, the percent of people in our county that were either in jail, on probation, or off probation, but had been convicted. I dare not repeat it, but it staggered me.

I think a real eye-opener for the public if the media would show how many crimes are committed by people who by all rights should still be behind bars. I have a friend who is a parole officer and she tells me it is scary knowing some who are let out early.
