The Days are getting longer

The time from sunrise to sunset is 43 seconds longer today than it was on the shortest day. I don't know what I will do with all this extra time.

Yes, we are up to 6 hours and 54 minutes of day length now. Some time next week sunrise will start to happen earlier.

I went to put my socks on and one had a hole in the heel. Had to walk back up stairs to the bedroom to get a good sock. Used up half of my 43 seconds......

I vote that we defund winter and divide those months between spring and fall. Would save on hay, energy and input costs.

Yes it's a downhill slide here only a month of good growing season left. February starts to slow down a bit. I'll have to start getting things ready for planting some oats.

you move a lot faster than I do in the mornings if you can walk up the stairs to the bedroom in 22 seconds!

I had already been up for more than an hour walking around bare foot on the carpet. And I started my time from the bottom of the stairs.
